The story began in July 2004.

A meeting on neutral ground between Petra (double bass) multirecidivist in the easy trigger and Pistol Pierr’o playing as well his guitar as the Colt 45.A short while to scour the shanties in search of the third thief: Julien widely known as J.D. Mad Cow (drums) inveterate player, maniac of home-made explosives and up to anything to grow rich.

Dodge City Outlaws was born!

In August 2004 practices began. Playing a melodic and energetic, classical Psychobilly. That was in October 2005 that the first 6 tracks opus of the Dodge City Outlaws brought out “Plead Guilty” co-producted by the French label: Les Production de l’Impossible. Many gigs allowed the band to play at first part of groups such as: Church of confidence (D); The Quakes (USA) ; The Meteors (UK)…and take part in many festivals all over France.

At the time of this album, our sound was just at its beginning but it was ready to go ahead. The outlaws decide to strike a decisive blow! With the song: “Eat The Dust and Die”. It is a very energetic and opened on the other styles set. It was recorded for the release of the Mighty Worms Srike Vol’2 that includes all the top of the French scene.

More and more attracted by a dramaticly evolving Rock scene and bands such as: Turbo AC’s, Peter Pan Speed Rock, Danko Jones, The hives, Queens of the stone age, Hellacopters, Turbonegro, and more…
The new aim of the pals is to unit the roots of Psychobilly and the boldness of Power Rock, breaking down the rules and sectarian spirits. Their proper style will be: LOUD-A-BILLY!

The band started off well the 2008 season. First above: “The Sentence Is Done”, their first album born in February. 9 powerfull, melodic and breaking new ground tracks, wich they are proud of. Also the Mighty Worms Association asked ’em again to feature on their brand new compilation Mighty Worms Strike Vol’3.On the bases of what it called in France “a battle”: local or famous groups have 1 month to write, compose and record an original song. For the Dodge City Outlaws it will be the bad tempered: “The Truth Will Be Known”.

C’est en juillet 2004 que l’histoire commença.

Un rendez-vous en terrain neutre entre Petra (contrebasse) multirécidiviste à la gâchette facile et Pistol’Pierr’o jouant aussi bien de sa gretsch que du colt 45. Après quelques jours de tournée de bouges, un troisième larron fut trouvé en la personne de Julien alias J.D Mad cow (batterie) joueur invétéré, maniaque de l’explosif artisanal et prêt à tout pour s’enrichir.

Les Dodge city outlaws étaient nés.

Dès août 2004 les répétitions commençaient. Jouant un PSYCHOBILLY tinté de ROCKABILLY à la fois mélodique et énergique. C’est en Octobre 2005 que le premier CD 6 titres des Dodge city outlaws sortit : Plead Guilty coproduit par le label Montbéliardais Production de l’impossible. Les concerts s’enchainent permettant au groupe d’être remarqué en 1ère partie de formations telles que : Church of confidence (D);The Quakes (USA) ; The Meteros (UK)…et de figurer au programme de plusieurs festivals dans tout l’hexagone.

Après ce premier aperçu d’un son qui s’affine de jour en jour, les hors-la-loi décident de frapper un nouveau coup. Ce sera sur la compilation Migthy Worms Strike volume 2, qui regroupe la fine fleur de la scène franc-comtoise. Ils enregistrent le titre Eat the dust and die, un morceau très énergique et ouvert sur d’autres styles.

De plus en plus influencés par une scène rock en pleine évolution et par des groupes comme : Turbo AC’s, Peter Pan Speed Rock, Danko Jones, The hives ou encore Queens of the stone age, Hellacopters et autres Turbonegro, le trio souhaite bousculer les étiquettes et les clichés en unissant leur racine Psychobilly à l’audace du power rock et en définissant leur style propre comme étant du LOUD-A-BILLY.

La saison 2008 commence sur les chapeaux de roues pour le trio avec la sortie en février de son premier album: The sentence is done. 9 titres efficaces, mélodiques et novateurs. Ainsi qu’avec leur présence sur la compilation produite par l’association Mighty Worms : Mighty worms strike vol’3.Compilation battle Dans laquelle les groupes du Grand Est affrontent les grosses mécaniques nationales. Dodge City Outlaws y place un inédit énergique et rageur: The truth will be known.
